Life Classes Instructor & Certified Life Coach

Cindy is a graduate of Allegheny College where she double majored in Education and Psychology. She worked in the education field for 30 years and then felt called to pursue a ministry in counseling and coaching. Having earned a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a Life Coaching certification from Liberty University, Cindy most valued their approach to the integration of faith and learning, which she now brings to her coaching clients.

Cindy has been married to Mike for 36 years and they have four children ranging in age from 22 to 32. After living in Atlanta for 32 years, Cindy and Mike made the move to Mount Pleasant in 2016 to join the staff at Life Park Church where Mike serves as Children's Pastor. Cindy is now following her passion for counseling, coaching, training, disciplining and mentoring and is excited to be a part of the Life Resources staff in the role of Life Classes Instructor and Life Coach (parenting, spiritual direction, relationship, transition and personal).

Cindy offers Life Classes which include Spiritual Disciplines I and II, SHAPE (Finding Your Kingdom Purpose), Age of Opportunity, Shepherding a Child's Heart, No More Faking Fine (The Lost Art of Lamenting), and Search for Significance. Cindy also facilitates a post-abortion support group for women who are struggling with the post-traumatic effects of abortion. (There is also a virtual group for men, led by men, who have experienced abortion.) More details about each of these classes and support groups can be found on our website here.

Cindy loves to read and travel. When she is not reading or traveling, she enjoys exercising, pickle ball, connecting with friends over coffee and mentoring young women.
